| Initial Claims fall on fewer Factory Closings..Not just autos Posted: 15 Jul 2010 05:31 AM PDT Came in at 429K vs 458 last month. The Labor department anticipates an increase in factory layoffs at this time of year due to early July vacation idling and factory re-tooling. That did not occur this year which caused the sharp decline on an seasonally adjusted basis. |
